A personal recap of things I explored, learned, or questioned in tech this week.
π§ What I Worked On
- Kicked off a new finance management app project
- I decided to use Kubernetes for the development, staging, and “production” environments. I know itβs overkill for a project at this early stage, but my motivation is to improve my Kubernetes skills.
- This project will probably be open source once itβs mature enough.
π Homelab Updates
- Installed Nexus
- Updated Docmost to 0.22.0
- Installed Harbor
- I really liked Harbor.
- it’ll be my official container registry
π What I Learned
- Simulating AWS Cloud Practioner exams
- Learning more detail of many services of AWS
π§ Things That Surprised Me
- Nexus has 3 types of repo which make it powerful

π¬ Final Thoughts
- I really glad that I have the combo: k8s, gitlab and docker registry (Harbor).
